To reduce the risk of Hepatitis B while traveling:

  • Get vaccinated before travel.

  • Avoid sharing personal items like razors or nail clippers.

  • Take precautions during medical procedures, such as ensuring sterile needles and equipment are used.

  • Avoid contact with blood or bodily fluids.

Signs & Symptoms

Hepatitis B symptoms may not appear immediately and can range from mild to severe:

  • Fatigue and weakness

  • Loss of appetite

  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes)

  • Dark urine and pale stools

Chronic Hepatitis B infections can cause long-term liver damage or cancer.
