Blood Pressure Testing
Our Blood Pressure Checks Service is designed to help with the early detection and treatment of hypertension, reducing the risk of serious health complications. Similar to a standard blood pressure test, one of our qualified pharmacists will begin by measuring your blood pressure. If your reading is higher than 140/90mmHg, we will offer 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, known as Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), to provide a more comprehensive assessment.

What is Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)?
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) involves wearing a small, portable device around your waist for 24 hours. This device automatically measures your blood pressure every 30 minutes, allowing your pharmacist and GP to observe how your blood pressure changes throughout the day and night. ABPM provides a clearer and more accurate picture of your blood pressure over time, helping to ensure the most effective treatment plan.
